Jay Katz aka Jaimie Leonarder has been involved in underground artistic ventures for well over twenty five years. He and his wife Aspasia the subject of a Pagan/SBS independent film called "Love & Anarchy". They are devotees of independent cinema running a screening venue in their own home the Mu-Meson Archives. Avid collectors of lost film footage they have became Robin Hood figure's to the A.B.C. finding the A.B.C more original lost footage of their T.A shows from the early 60's than any other organization. Jaimie started his career in nursing and then went on to welfare spending the best part of the eighties working in the Saint George area as a detached youth worker then managing the Hurstville C.Y.S.S. centre. His wife and creative partner Aspasia who was working as a diversional therapist when they met and is now an avid archivist of lost and contemporary film culture. Jaimie and Aspa both have an affinity to young people and their creative needs.

Repertory Cinema
They run a film night once a week at the Annandale Hotel showing repertory Cinema on 16mm film called Cult Sinema Monday. Mainly showing low budget, independent or obscure films as this is were you can draw inspiration from if you are just starting out.

Sounds of Seduction
The Sounds of Seduction is primarily a rare groove night. Focusing heavily on the 60's & 70's it is the ultimate discotheque. Accompanied by spectacular eye candy in the form of Go-Go Girls in cages, 16mm projections and vintage oil lighting, covering an eclectic range of music from easy listening, exotica to cutting edge soul funk. Featuring Jay Katz and Miss Death with guest DJ's.

The Sounds of Seduction has created many links to artists locally and internationally. Mike Patton (Faith No More) regularly will involve Jay Katz as his support act when touring his band the Fantomas. Artists that have performed in The Sounds of Seduction are Rocket Science, Phantom Surfers (USA), Darth Vegas, Down Town Brown (Melb), The Atlantics, David Thrussel (Snog), Dave Graney, Soup, Soluna, Christa Hughes, Extra Bimbo, Toy Death, Mike Gubb etc. .. Artists the Sounds have worked or supported with Ninja Tunes, Beck, Southern Culture on the Skids, Swerve Driver. Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Texecali Rose, Stereo Lab, Mad Professor, Boss Hog, Melvins, Tomahawk etc...

Mu-Meson Archives Screenings
Jaimie and Aspasia also have a passion for Conspiracies and Anomalous Phenomena which they incorporate in the weekly screenings in their home collecting all sorts of topics that get either little coverage or none at all. Not subscribing to one theory or hypothesis they prefer to see themselves as cultural archaeologists always digging for the truth. They have never received money from a government body or private organisation and have always remained vehemently independent in their research.

The Naked City
Community Radio has also played a large part in the lives of the archives. Jaimie did community radio on 2MBSFM for 10 years 1981 to 1991. Jaimie, Aspasia and Chris then did all the tests for FBI Radio and then were finally given a program when they got the license. Now streaming on the net for the world to enjoy "The Naked City" broadcasts every Saturday between loam and midday on FBI (94.5) with Jay Katz, Miss Death and Coffin Ed. Guests have included JJ (from Good Times), Jack Sargeant, Neil Hamburger, Diamanda Galas, Jim Rose and many more. An adrenalin charged look at the sari arced rite of Sydney!
