The History of Bubble Gum Music
Bubblegum pop (also known as bubblegum rock, bubblegum music, or simply bubblegum) is a genre of pop music with an upbeat sound contrived and marketed to appeal to pre-teens and teenagers, produced in an assembly-line process, driven by producers, often using unknown singers. Bubblegum's classic period ran from 1967 to 1972. The second wave of bubblegum started two years later and ran until 1977 when disco took over and punk rock emerged. The genre was predominantly a singles phenomenon rather than an album-oriented one, the presumption being that teenagers and pre-teens had less money to spend on records and were thus more likely to buy singles than albums. Also, because many acts were manufactured in the studio using session musicians, a large number of bubblegum songs were by one-hit wonders. Among the best-known acts of bubblegum's golden era are 1910 Fruitgum Company, The Ohio Express and The Archies.

Blue Hawaii, an Elvis classic, is the first of three movies that he shot in Hawaii. It is a fun musical that follows Chad Gates as he returns to the surfing culture of Hawaii after serving in the army.

Italy's Friendship UFO Contactee Case of 50's and Frances UMMO
Only in the last few years has the Friendship UFO case come to light. In the late 50's Italian scientist, academics and ordinary people independent of each other started to have startling UFO experiences. Close  encounters of the 3rd and 4th kind were documented and photographic evidence was compiled. This case goes beyond Billy Meier and could have startling implications for humanity.

History of Modern Burlesque
In the days of World War II, and the post War Effort, there emerged a new art form, one that was partially for modeling, one that was dancing, and a little naughty. It was Burlesque! It wasn't until the mid 1950s, where showgirls started to adopt headdresses and costume changes to dancing and stripping shows in Las Vegas, did you see the first showgirls. The years between the eviction of the Burlesque Dancer in 1935 to 1950 in NYC, created the truest version of the art, and this is the period that we are looking at, the one that today's resurgence has been modeled on.

The truth about Fluoride
What is behind this push for universal fluoridation? Fact Prior to 1945, fluoride was properly regarded as an environmental pollutant. It was responsible for many lawsuits against industries, such as the aluminum industry and the phosphate fertilizer industry, whose waste products contain large quantities of fluoride. This fluoride destroyed crops and animals, leading to the lawsuits. The limited public view was that fluoride was an environmental pollutant that needed to be reduced or eliminated from the environment.
As a result of clever public relations campaigns, fluoride was transformed from an environmental pollutant to an essential nutrient necessary for producing healthy teeth. The science was poor, but the P.R. campaign was great. Being against fluoride was like being against motherhood or apple pie. Industries not only made millions from selling this environmental pollutant to water companies and toothpaste companies, but more importantly, it saved billions of dollars that would be required to clean up this environmental pollutant.

Star Crash (1979)
This jaw-dropping 1979 Star Wars knock-off is something of a cult item, prepare yourself for a vintage science fiction adventure film you will never forget, as the sultry Stella Star (Caroline Munro) and her alien sidekick Akton (Marjoe Gortner) team up with robot lawman Elle (Judd Hamilton) on a high adventure to save the universe. It is a cosmic mash-up of daring escapes, wild special effects, beautiful women in sexy space bikinis and nonstop action on a dozen alien worlds. There is a plot of sorts, but mostly Munro stands around trying to channel Raquel Welch while director Luigi Cozzi kicks the story from one outlandish set to the next. David Hasselhoff shows up halfway through, looking as though he's auditioning to be a dancer at Studio 54--but everybody else in the picture looks that way too, even veteran villain Joe Spinell, as the universe's cape-clad personification of evil.

Re-use is again the major theme but now its across a multiplicity of artistic endeavors, such as Sculpture, Re-upholstery, Painting, Quilting and much much more. Themes of dark emotions abound, such as Edwardian images of Krumpas that will be juxtaposed against Hawaiian hula girls mounted in bamboo frames. Tawdry paperback art from the 50s & 60s is blown up and remounted in antiquated frames to shock another generation. Quilt’s comprised of 100s of material sample squares patiently sown together to bring not only warmth on a winter days but maintain a visually striking edge. Oh boy, this one immense exhibition! It at last exposes just some of the imaginative and unbelievable talent of our much loved Miss Death has at her disposal; (written by her husband Jay Katz of course!) More info to come, start saving.

Rats aka Deadly Eyes (1982)
Rats feeding off steroid-laced grain grow to uncomfortable sizes and attack humans, including "special guest star" Scatman Crothers. High school teacher Paul (Sam Groom) and health inspector Kelly (Sara Botsford) are the love interests who fight back. Rats is infamous for its cheap effects, which included disguising a pack of small dogs to portray the marauding rats, but it does wring some entertainment value out of its well-worn premise. The finale has the rats overrun a movie theater before attacking subway system patrons. In the end, Rats is a co-production that's most notable for an interesting turn by Lisa Langlois (runner-up Miss Teen Canada 1974) as a cheerleader intent on seducing her teacher, and a surprising amount of footage of downtown Toronto.
